What’s for Dinner

Last night was refrigerator roulette with the smaller bits & bots of leftovers. I had pork chops & brussels sprouts & applesauce, he had steak, salad and sweet potato. Banana sundae for me, chocolate biscotti for him while we watched the game

Tonight will be the leftover zoodles w/ meatballs and some garlic bread, pear sundaes for dessert.

Tonight halibut curry served with basmati rice.To drink lemon water.For dessert 1/2 a pink grapefruit.

Last night we actually had a different HelloFresh. Italian sausage hoagis. Came with so much arugula that I added pears, candied nuts, and a poppy seed dressing.

We'll have the burgers tonight.

Sweet and sour elk meatballs, veggie stir-fry rice. For dessert a giant cream puff with vanilla bean pastry cream, chocolate goop and whipped cream.

I'm also baking a batch of rhubarb ginger scones I had in the freezer and thawing out a cottage pie. Will send some of all to a widowed friend who is having back surgery tomorrow. Her first one left her worse off and I surely hope that this second does the trick for her.

Giving thanks today that it's not us yet.
