Scored some excellent Italian hot sausage from an Italian market so cooking it with sweet peppers and tomatoes and will have it on nice crusty Italian bread with a salad. Also bought some pistachio biscotti which will go well with a cup of herbal tea for dessert.
Scored a porterhouse for $4.75, going to rub it with rosemary salt and grill it.
Sides are roasted asparagus and broccoli with balsamic glaze, buttered farro, and lettuce and tomato salad with thousand island dressing.
Baked potato would be more appropriate, but farro is a recent discovery for us that our little daughter loves! She’ll probably eat a bowl of farro and some roasted vegetables.
Spaghetti with Bolognese sauce and salad. Cabernet Sauvignon to drink.
