What’s for Dinner

A steamy hot and sticky day and I don't feel like standing by the stove...... therefore tonight Bavarian Pretzels with a red radish and Leerdammer cheese salad.To drink a Löwenbräu.For dessert homemade yogurt with blueberries and strawberries.

olive oil
white wine vinegar
Bavarian sweet mustard
salt/black pepper
mix finely sliced red radish and Leerdammer cheese sliced in thin pieces with above vinaigrette and garnished with spring onion,chive or cutlery parsley

Tonight we are having pork nachos and pulled pork spring rolls, fried vegetable rice, pintos and iced cinnamon apple bars for dessert.

I lOVE Leerdammer cheese! Alas, although I have GOOGLED this cheese - and while the map suggests ALDI and the local Supermarket Deli - Giant Eagle, neither of them carries it.

I did find this source and they have this cheese, although I think it's Dutch.

Because it's cool out, I planned a summer squash bake, stir-fried cabbage green onions, and homemade potato salad, and iced tea.

Lemon and white chocolate chip cookies for dessert.
