Light vegetable and risoni soup, scotch fillet steak with mushrooms, scalloped potatoes and green salad.

We are so missing restaurants as we are three weeks into a lockdown. I swear we will go out every night for a week if we ever are allowed out again. Which I am not expecting any time soon. I fear it will be home cooking forever.

We went to the coast and wanted to bring home some fish - we usually buy black drum but they didn't have any. I bought some Cobia filets and grilled them up last night. It was a nice firm-ish white fish with a mild flavor. I've never seen it in stores but I would buy it again. We had baked potatoes and roasted asparagus on the side.

Tonight I am making chicken parmesan but will top with some fresh mozzarella and lots of basil leaves from my garden. Sautéed zucchini on the side.

A small pork loin roast sliced jelly roll style stuffed with spinach, herbs, Parmesan and cream cheese to hold it together, big mixed green salad, lots of sun warm tomatoes for me. Risotto with mushrooms or homemade rice a roni which is SO's second favorite side. He brought me raspberry sorbet to the office yesterday. A bribe?
