I made some jerk chicken, rice and beans, and potato salad today. Everything turned out great, thankfully. I made it for a cookout here in Hawaii, but the event got rained out so I just pigged out at home

Centerville Chicken Pot Pie with Veggies - this probably looks like just another frozen pot pie, but if you are in the greater Boston area, you gotta try this, or any pie from Centerville Pie Co for that matter. They cost a little more - about $14, but IMO they are equal to a $25 pie from a bakery, so actually a bargain.

I’ve got some steaks in the sous vide, a caprese salad made and I’m going to sauté some zucchini and may throw a few Alexia tater tot’s in the air fryer.

On my actual birthday, I celebrated alone. Since the seafood place I originally intended to go to decided to be temporarily closed , I decided to stop in at Saltgrass to take advantage of a points reward. So, it was there that I decided to get some fried shrimp and some fries. I also included some cold shrimp cocktail and some chicken tortilla soup. They were washed down with iced tea and a bottle of Lone Star beer.

Bon appetit, wherever you may be!

Grilled field roast Frankfurters, mine topped with Maille Dijon mustard and dill pickle relish. Buttered grilled New England Hot Dog rolls, homemade potato salad with a light, sherry vinegarette dressing. A big tossed green salad with oil, vinegar and blue cheese crumbles.

I can't resist one last slice of Key Lime pie. Then we will take a walk.
