Tonight at the Case abode: Sloppy Joes with ingredients which I've gotten at H-E-B (including very lean ground beef). I'll bring in some macaroni salad as a side.

I’m going to try a new (to me) recipe: crispy tofu with cashews and blistered snow peas over jasmine rice.

Sloppy Joe using Lloyd’s pork barbque on a toasted Brioche bun with a scoop of cole slaw.
Finished the rest of my lemonade.

Dessert: I think DH and I can split a turtle cheesecake cup. Yum, so good!

I returned from NYC last night after spending the weekend with an old friend. She sent me home with a bushel (literally) of arugula, watercress, and a loaf of sourdough bread.

I decided to make chilled vichyssoise with watercress. Grilled Gruyere chees sandwiches - I just love it grilled. Arugula, tomato, cucumber, and pearl quinoa salad.

Fresh strawberries and wine for dessert.

I am salivating reading that!

Tonight I’m making pork chops in the air fryer, sweet potato, yellow squash casserole and stuffed mushrooms.

Sole filets wrapped around crab cakes, and brushed with a mix of melted butter, lemon pepper, minced garlic, and Old Bay spice before baking at 375F... sauteed spinach and colored carrot coins. This is one of my favorite seafood dishes to make, and it tastes and looks more expensive than it is...
