We had a frozen pizza.

Last night was beef hot dogs and ranch style beans with cheese and chopped onion on top.

Chicken in Garlic White Wine Cream Sauce. That's the name of the recipe. It's really chicken (almost) Alfredo with garlic, white wine, mushrooms, and basil. I considered licking the plate. I settled for the finger swipe and lick.

Store night after work so dinner will be simple and easy because I won't get home til after 6pm. I love the frozen cauliflower and sweet potato mix that Green Giant makes. I simply microwave the entire bag of that, then make a dressing by mixing a cup of plain nonfat Greek yogurt with a tablespoon or two of mayonnaise (I love Just Mayo) and a pinch of lemon juice and black pepper and mix that into the veggies for a very tasty meal. I usually have a side with that, but tonight I am making cheesecake for my partner for his birthday Saturday and well, I know that I will be "taste testing" and so on so I want to keep the rest light lol.

Tonight pizza made from Durum flour, flax seeds, tomato sauce, mushrooms, green and red chilies, ginger, garlic, green Bell pepper, green olives, red onion and Canadian cheddar cheese. Served with a mixed garden salad and mini homemade buns with garlic butter. To drink a choice of Alexander Keith's India Pale Ale. Later for dessert in front of the fireplace Apple Zwieback Torte https://germanfoods.org/recipe/apple-zwieback-torte/ with whipping cream and a cup of black coffee.

Have a nice weekend everyone

Sounds like a chicken night for many of us. I’m thinking BBQ chicken, potato salad, green beans, and biscuits. Then again Threestep’s pot pie sounds amazing ..... so maybe that!

Meeting some buddies at a place for eats / drinks that's one of my least favorite places for food. Incase you are local to Seattle - It's The Lodge located in Mill Creek Town Center. Nice semi upscale place ... but the few times I have been there I am less than impressed with both service as well as meals. And I set the bar pretty low for each usually.

Maybe tonite is the night I send my 1st food item back to the kitchen !!

We are having 3 couples over for dinner tonight (I may have to kill my husband as the men are friends of his who are bringing their wives, none of whom I've met). I am having a buffet starting with asiago & broccoli soup shots, a potato bar with mini roasted red potato balls with various toppings (bacon, shredded cheese, sour cream, green onions); prosciutto wrapped asparagus, bbq riblets and Hawaiian chicken kebabs. I am only serving mojitos to keep it simple (and inexpensive) and we will have gingerbread cheesecake for dessert. Then, I will kill the mister.

How amazing does that menu sound?! I know we’ve never met, but what time?
