my quick yet satisfying go-to easy meal-
adult mac-n- cheese:
use two boxes noodles ( I use Annies organic shells but you could do regular Krafts too)with ONE packet cheese, mix with butter and milk, then I add pesto and veggies-
tonights was pesto, fresh basil and sautéed mushrooms, with broccoli, and one of our zucchinis from the garden, steak and chicken breast on the side!

It is cold this morning with frost on the roof.A friend recommended this recipe and I am going to try it tonight.

Roasted pumpkin and root-vegetable soup with cinnamon and ginger. For dessert 1 gingersnap cookie with a cup of Ricola tea.

sounds a bit like what we are having: I just put a pot of carrot, sweet potato and corn soup, more like a chowder on to cook in the crock pot. I am not sure if I will be adding the ginger and cinnamon or not: may do curry instead. Also will add a bit or cumen and I already has a jalapeno in it. So I guess, mine is more on the spicy side. Today is going to be a nice day, but by tomorrow we will have heavy frost and a cold weekend ahead.

I think it will be lemon chicken. It has spinach in it, so just some noodles on the side.

Well it is raining like crazy here. Which does not bode well for my after dinner outdoor jack o' lantern festival plans. On the off chance it clears up I am making an early easy dinner. It will be sweet and sour meatballs, rice and peas.

Tonight will be mushroom bourguignon served over mashed potatoes. Probably a bold red wine to drink.
