nothing at the moment. DH was having fried smelts for lunch with his mom and brother and I ate a late lunch. If I do eat something it might be eggs and cheese.

YES I finally got the spiralizer and I LOVE it!

Ahhh, I'm currently studying for state boards, so I do understand. One long weekend of classes, for dinner I had a limp sandwich from being in my purse for hours & one of those organic honey-oat-cardboard-twig bars that tastes like thorns & bark, but not as outstandingly delicious.

Tonight, the roads are nuts. I'm beginning to think I should have left last night... they're evacuating some of the lower levels of the county underneath me, voluntary so far. So, dinner was 1/2-bag of Ruffles low fat chips & a couple of fried chicken wings from the store... both were awful. The saving grace is I'm gonna wash it down with an IPA & double espresso... for the extra vitamins & minerals.

A much more impressive meal than last night's hot dogs:

Bacon-wrapped pesto chicken breast, roasted on the bone
Toasted almond rice pilaf (box)
Sautéed balsamic mushrooms with shallot and broccoli

Not proud of it, but I needed some comfort food and we had a cheese assortment in the fridge that wasn't getting any younger so:
Grilled Smoked Turkey, Swiss, Havarti, and Gouda with Mayo on Cranberry Granola Bread.

It was really, really good.

Pork chops and apple sauce.
DH did a great job with seasoning and grilling the chops
Ha, forgot what I drank already.
Dessert: 1/2 scoop of our Breyers vanilla caramel gelato and about a scoop of the salted caramel.
