We had grilled chicken breast (spicy) topped with leftover sauteed chilis and onion and add fresh mango to it and sauteed chard/spinach/kale with lemon zest and juice.

Some of you may have noticed the recent absence of Food Forum regular, No Kudzu.
As some of you know, she was preparing to move into her new house, with her husband and two middle school aged daughters.
She was very excited about a fresh start and the prospect of this move.
Unfortunately, on moving day, she twisted her ankle and fell to the ground breaking both of her legs. She is not recuperating in a rehabilitation facility. She is in a considerable amount of pain, and is very upset about being absent for the big move, and being separated from her family.
I think she's enjoy hearing from her City Data family. Your kind thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated!
We are cooking on the patio. DH is grilling kielbasa sausage and vegetable kabobs - summer squash, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, and assorted peppers. I'm making a tri color potato salad with celery, carrots, chopped dill pickles and a mixture of mayo and sour cream.
Cast iron pan roasted chicken leg & puree of parsnip/carrot/celery with homemade red wine gravy. The puree & gravy were fantastic, believe it or not... tasted like sweet potatoes. I'm attempting to eat foods I don't like for more vitamins & hide it under homemade gravy. In fact, not being a big chicken fan, I loved the vegs far more than the poultry.
The only glitch... I'm pretty sure I didn't simmer gravy long enough to cook out the alcohol from 1C wine (I ate 1/2 the gravy), given that I felt a bit tipsy after dinner. Woo hoo!
Tofu, chicken and broccoli stir-fry over Jasmine rice.
