I got home so late last night I skipped dinner in favor of bed. Back to work today but brought home some farm fresh produce for dinner tonight. Corn-on-the-cob, green beans, sliced vine ripened tomatoes and sweet cantaloupe. So good. Who needs meat?

We had potato salad and ribeye steaks. We split a Klondike bar for dessert. I guess the veg was the celery in the potato salad.

Yesterday I fell victim to posting-dinner-too-early-syndrome (PDTES). Ended up eating very lightly - a hard boiled egg and some homemade dill potato salad.

Today we are having the La Madeleine copycat tomato-basil cream soup, French bread, sliced blue cheese olives, tangerine wedges, and a .88 lb ribeye which I will let DH eat about .70 lbs of.

I will coat the ribeye with rosemary salt before grilling it on the Foreman.

I should make a salad, but there's that pesky school work....

I have a steak in the fridge that I thawed out Friday so it is cook it today or toss it. No way in you know where would I toss a good steak, so I guess it is steak and grilled veggies. Whether that is on the grill or the griddler depends on mother nature. She is supposed to stay away until tomorrow but she wasn't supposed to hit yesterday either or not hard. About 6:30pm it started thundering and the next thing we knew we had a 2 or 3 hour pour down.
