Just the two of us, staying home and out of the traffic/heat/tourists. Grilling some teriyaki chicken I have marinating, Bush's Baked Beans (we like them cold, so they are chilling in the fridge now), potato salad, a bacon and tomato pasta salad, deviled eggs, a cucumber/radish/black olive salad in Ranch dressing with a few splashes of Apple Cider Vinegar.

We went to the club to meet up with friends. I had a delicious chipotle black bean burger with avocado salad, grilled Mexicali corn, melon and lemon yogurt salad and a Margarita.
Desert was ice cream.
We will go back for the fire works at 9.

depending on mother nature again: I wanted to grill or have spoiled brat grill but it is another day of rain they tell us. Either way, we are having chicken and what else I am not sure. Today is a visit to the hospital for tests, a trip to get the ugly hair cut and then on to Aldi's and probably out to lunch since I can't have anything to eat or drink til after I visit the imaging dept. Why, I don't know.
Tonight salmon fillet on zucchini and tomatoes served with little boiled potatoes and sprinkled with parsley. For dessert strong chilled mocha with vanilla ice cream, topped with whipped cream and bitter chocolate sprinkles.
SO asked for sugo - beef, Merlot, onion, garlic, herbs and mushrooms. Plenty of green salad and garden tomatoes. The very first cucumber of the season.
