It has been cooking overnight and the house smells wonderful. I made the spaghetti sauce yesterday afternoon but still need to make some meat balls. Of course, with it we will simply have a nice green salad. I had run out of blue cheese so spoiled brat has been enjoying not having to eat my kind of dressing, but I too care of that yesterday. I bought blue cheese; now I can make fresh dressing.

Tonight we have fish and chips in beer batter and sweet,tangy coleslaw.Served with beer. For dessert a mixed fruit salad ( cherries,red/green grapes,strawberries,blueberries,bananas,honeydew melon/watermelon,papaya,mango,lemon juice,vanilla sugar,roasted almonds,shot of Cointreau).

Have a wonderful weekend everyone.I am off to celebrate tomorrow July 1st the 150th birthday of Canada. The long weekend will be filled with festivities,activities,delicious food and great company.
