I brought home a sandwich from my job. I did not eat lunch today because I wasn't hungry and that's unusual for me. Made DH pork chop and homemade fried rice.

Good morning everyone. It is cold outside, only 11 C/ 51.8 F and it is wet and rainy for now. Crazy weather.Feeling like comfort food.
So tonight 2 noodle casseroles, one with black forest ham the other one without.Served with Romaine lettuce and a yogurt, dill, sugar, lemon sauce. To drink sour lemon water or beer. For dessert vanilla pudding with warm strawberry or blueberry sauce.

I might do ribs tonight. DIL sent a picture of some they made last night and they looked good.

Last nights brisket was really amazing. I had never cooked brisket before. It was only 2#, but still made tons of brown goo in the cast iron pan for rich flavorful gravy. A winner. I wish they weren't so expensive.

Last night was frozen fish sticks, tater tots and frozen vegetables. I was short on time and the fridge is empty because we leave on vacay next week.

While DH was gracious about it, I think that meal qualifies as spousal abuse.

In all fairness I had done red wine braised short ribs with herbs that was quite good.
