I warm up coffee every morning and I warmed some milk and butter for a recipe I was making yesterday. Of course, we thaw and warm up dishes all the time.
I think it's an important asset to the kitchen, although not as important as we originally thought it would be, when they were first introduced.

I use it twice a day when I feed the dogs. It takes the chill off of their wet food The only time I use a microwave to cook is when I steam vegetables. I used to use the timer on it all the time except now I use my iPhone.

I used mine for cooking frozen vegetables, which is not very often, I prefer fresh but like to keep some in the freezer for times when I am out of fresh produce or something. My husband uses it to warm up soup, and his gluten-free breads and buns need some microwaving to soften them up.
I used to pop corn in it, but ever since the tray stopped revolving that doesn't work anymore. So i've gone back to making popcorn on top of the stove, and wondered why I ever stopped! Tastes sooooo much better!

Use it everyday.
Used it a few minutes ago...
Why do you ask?
Something going to happen to us?

I use mine daily for instant oatmeal. Other than that, and occasionally for softening butter, it isn't used much here.

Nah, actually I was reading about inflation and deflation and how computers were basically getting to the point of costing less to buy a new one than fixing the old one, and discovered that microwaves used to cost about $26,000 when they first came out. Not any more, .

I use it everyday to re-heat leftovers and to defrost frozen food if needed.

I never had one when they first came out. I just used mine a little while ago to warm up my tea.

I use it most mornings to make oatmeal. I thaw spaghetti sauce in it. I bake potatoes in it. I heat my cocoa in it. I heat up soup in it.

Interesting reason for posing your question. Many electronics/appliances (or other things) are becoming more disposable.
