I am 45 and look like at least 40. Botox and workouts can only do so much.
He is 33 and looks like 25.
He is also shorter than me. He dresses really young with baseball cap. Right now I look more fit and buff but he is catching up by working out diligently.
We do look like mother and son, especially when we have the arms around each other and I am looking down on him . I told him we could get rich on MILF and stepson porn movies.
We already had a drunk guy yell at us "hey dude, she is so much taller than you. she could totally beat your ass." I told him I can beat his, too.
It is all kinda new and I really hope this doesn't bother him. He acts all cool but who knows. I wish he was older but then we spend the whole weekend in bed then I am glad he isn't older
HAHA! We've been together 3.5 years now and that was early on in our relationship - so perhaps I"m aging him?? I've gained a little weight (menopause / covid) so maybe that's made my face look a bit younger?

i have covid weight and it makes my face chubbier but not in a good way because now my eyes are smaller (look older) from the extra fat in my cheeks.
My body is fit and buff. I can put 25 year old girls to shame but I am slowly starting to show my age there, too. Every passing year I find my body changing. No gravity yet but wrinkles and dents.
So true. The "raccoon look" is the scariest of all. (black sever eyeliner on the lower lid)
Check out some shots of British singer Dusty Springfield, in some she looks as if she was related to a panda.
It didn’t look bad on her though, she was an attractive young woman with a great voice.

I just looked her up. She is beautiful. I do not see a raccoon or panda in her.

She was definitely beautiful, she died in 1999, aged 59, I cried myself to sleep when she came out as gay.
Google Dusty Springfield eye make up and you’ll get lots of face shots.
She didn’t always go nuts with the eye make up, but you’ll see a few photos where she’s got quite a bit.
Does this bother you? Do you, in turn make sure everyone knows you are not a kid or do you just leave it at that? I read somewhere that you are married but if you weren't would you look for guys your age or guys younger because you look younger?
Sorry, if this is too personal. I am just curious (and jealous).
Im proud of being 40 & i let it be known. I have always been into men my age or older though my current husband is 2 yrs younger than me.
But no. At 40 i do not want ppl in my industry thinking i’m a intern. It can be awkward, i usually make a joke & say “oh yup, enjoying my internship … 18 years now”
I've been told by 4 different family members this week, that I reminded them of my mom. Both times involved them seeing me from a distance, walking towards them.
I don't think they mean because of my face, because everybody, especially family, knows that we don't share any facial features.
My mom aged very quickly in the last 10 years she was alive because she had a nutrient absorption disorder caused by a surgery for ulcers she had in her 30's. That surgery has since been banned; it's essentially a gastric bypass & had a high 5-year mortality rate. By the time she died at age 75, she looked like she was in her 90's. If it wasn't for her degrees in science & nutrition, she never would have made it even that far. She weighed only 75 lbs when she died, despite having been 5'10" as a full grown woman (shrunk several inches as she aged).
I suspect I was told this because I've lost 102 lbs over the last 2 years. I think my family is seeing me "thin" & at age 54, it's translating as "frail", like my mom looked. I'm almost 5'11" & a very healthy weight for my height: 155 lbs. I don't think I look frail. I'm actually quite strong & I feel great. I initially had only set out to lose 70 lbs, because I think women in their 50's are healthier if they are about 20 lbs heavier but the weight just kept coming off & I'm now just about 10 lbs heavier than when I was in high school.
I am still told all the time that it's "weird" that my oldest child is 36, because "you don't look old enough to have a kid in their mid-30's". Maybe it's because I am always wearing activewear & keep my hair past my waist (but it's going white, lol) & I do appreciate the "compliments" but sometimes it does feel weird, or kind of awkward.
