Used to like them, but cant' stand them anymore for the most part. Of course, it has something to do with where I live - not needed much. It's funny, but people change... Used to wear woolen sweaters on bare skin with no problem. Now there's no way to put them on, even if it is cold and even if I wear something under them. If they touch my arms, that's it... out!

I like some of them, on sweaters only. Some smaller/lighter ones I even love. Some are warm and comfy...but some choke me to the point of asphyxiation.

I wear them most of the time when it's cold and they suit me.

I usually team a thin cotton or a ribbed one under a V-neck or crewneck sweater.

Once my kitten stepped on tape as I was wrapping a package on the floor. She jumped, rolled, shook, shimmied & finally freed herself. I react just like that when I wear anything that covers my throat... It scares the other bus passengers. Sheesh...

They look great (although I honestly don't think I've seen anyone wear one in 20-yrs), but I loose an entire day to twisting, pulling & tugging at it... & then co-workers move their chairs away because they think I have fleas again...

Same here. The only thing is I don't remember the last time I used one, considering I live in TX

It all started in elementary school when I was FORCED to wear them and I would pull and tug at it all day and once I walked in thru the door STRIP I hated having that all day on my neck I felt like it was TORTURE or some kind of punishment.

For some reason it just stuck with me whenever I have a turtleneck on I feel constricted and very claustrophobic I don't buy any anymore and the one's I did have I BURNT THEM because they are THE WORST THING TO EVER OWN!!!!!!!!!!!

In the winter they are really nice to wear under sweaters.
