If I wore a turtleneck anything I'd get so claustrophobic I'd freak out. It makes me feel like I'm being choked!! UGH!!!

Yep thats me too. I cant stand anything around my neck. Not even a necklace or a scarf. I feel trapped. I want to hyperventilate. Imagine a catfit. Thats just how I feel. Oh and when I get my hair cut I always try to talk her out of the cape . No dice so I sit the whole time holding it away from my neck and crabbing .

Truthfully I wish I could wear them. I actually like the way they look. Im tall and I have a long kneck so they would look good on me. But alas I have horse thief syndrome. That and now that Im old I gets overheated.
I like bulky sweaters too but i cant wear them either.

I do not get the claustrophobic issues others get, but choose not to wear them because I have broad shoulders and look like a linebacker in them. Now the cowl neck style ones I wear occasionally, but I don't think those count as true turtlenecks.

Ah hah! Now I understand why I don't like turtlenecks. Which means either reincarnation is actually real, or I have more horse thieves in my family tree than I have thus discovered!

I would think that you couldn't go to bed, anyway, what with the sheets and all! (Sorry! I couldn't resist!)

Yeah, my kids would agree! I've even told my oldest grandson, who is now taller than me, (and I'm 5'8"), that it doesn't matter how tall he gets, I'll always be meaner! My 21 year-old son has already tried to counsel him on how to deal with women in general, and me in particular. My best friend told me that when we first met, over 12 years ago, she was kind of leery of me. I'm not exactly sure what that says about me, but it appears that I have some sort of reputation which proceeds me. But, just to show you that I'm not all bad...don't give those turtlenecks and sheets anymore thought. Sleep well.
