We've heard him talk about the issue and know that "more regulation" is not in his game plan.
He was on CBS News Face the Nation this past weekend and he says to enforce the current laws. He also said that we need more mental institutions. Not sure if he answered who will pay for the hospitals/clinics.
But like most things, he's vague in the details about pretty much everything he's proposed.

Last night he was on O'Reilly and again, dodged questions on how he intended to accomplish things.
That is because I haven't decided yet who I am going to support, I have several candidates I am considering. It is still early in the election cycle and this is normal. I doubt I am alone. I have, however, decided with unshakable certainty that I will not vote for Trump.
This is exactly what the Trump believers don't understand: people from all over the political spectrum have already decided they won't vote for him under any conditions. Over half of respondents on recent polls give him a negative rating while the other candidates are in the 20-25% range or less. Negative ratings almost always translate into either specifically voting against that candidate or not voting at all. That's likely to happen if Trump is the GOP nominee: Democrats and Independents are likely to come out to vote for the Democratic nominee against Trump, some anti-Trump Republicans may do the same, and likely many other anti-Trump Republicans will not vote at all.
Personally, I don't think that Trump will be the Republican nominee. I think that he's going to have trouble in the more ideologically conservative states because these are far more libertarian than populist in temperament. I think that he might also have problems in more the more progressive states with their large blocks of delegates (think California, NY, Illinois, Florida, etc) because these large urbanized states are home to so many rank-and-file Republicans who are essentially part and parcel of "the GOP establishment" that Trump and his supporters demonize.
Not in total...but I saw within the last few days that he emphatically will
get rid of any increase in the background checks Prez Obama wants.
Then, Rubio and some other Rep repeated the same strong sentence.
So...I can go either way on many topics, not this one.
I just can't.
this is by far the most brilliant political ad of all time. It covers all the major issues and is constantly being talked about across EVERY news station.
Tell me how is tax plans, gun rights, women's rights, healthcare, etc. are simply personality?
They have nothing to do with his personality. You don't base ones decision on their personality you base it on the actual policy. Non aggressive people still want us in the Middle East. That's aggressive policy. The complete opposite. You are seeing more into it imo. Many that like him do so because of his personality, when in fact a lot of his policies are business as usual.

I want someone who is honest. Personality has little to do with it. I can think of one instance but it's after the fact and has nothing to do with shaping the economy or foreign affairs. When we have a natural disaster of course you want someone personable like Obama vs Coolidge. But it's always about policy.

Agreed he doesn't get in depth much, isn't clear at times and contradicts himself from time to time.
I need to bathe after defending Trump.
