The man says he has sought and recieved redemtion for his actions. If he truly has then good for him. The question we should be addressing is who is the best candidate that could move this country forward after we rid ourselves of the man child who currently resides in the white house?
Who has the most experience and the most sound judgement on the issues that face us today? I haven't decided yet who that will be, but I haven't rulled out Gingrich meerly on the deeds of his past. All of us have had moments in our lives that were not stellar moments. We all grow from them and move on. I am in hopes and believe that is the case with the former speaker.

Never thought i'd see that in my lifetime, but i'm glad it happened.
Meanwhile, the happily married man with two nice, well behaved daughters in the White House gets vilified as the source of all evil. Go figure.

I remember in 1994 - Newt led Congress with his 'Contract For America' plan.

What about the contract with your wife buddy?

Oh please, there have been some on this very forum that have said some really nasty things about his marriage, etc.

This isn't really fair. We don't know who Newt will be married to by the November election.

This leads me to believe either that he is a lousy judge of character or does not have the intestinal fortitude to stick to his decisions, to back up promises he makes to people.

Hmmmm.... ex wives are not usually the best source of accurate information.

Oh yes they are....especially when there's no third party "he said-she-said"....it came right from Newt's lips to HER ears...

C'mon, Newt so far hasn't been shown to have ANY morals or ethics...who ya gonna believe....???

Between Santorum honoring the alleged child molester and serial rapist Sandusky and Gingrich's sorted past of debauchery, these two guys represent the slimiest that the GOP has to offer, and yet they are supposedly the family values and religious right candidates?

Romney is just plastic, not really slimy like the other two ...
