Seen the right/wrong track numbers lately? A DIRECT reflection on obama.

Remember, obama likes to think running against a "do-nothing" congress (who is more do-nothing than the dem senate?) will suffice as a campaign strategy, but just like his blame Bush and everybody else for HIS OWN policies failures didn't work in 2010, it probably won't work in 2012 either.
They were elected to create jobs, not political gridlock. They have failed, and their polling numbers reflect that.

Only 20% of Americans approve of Republican Congressional members performance, lower than the Democrat's 27% and Obama's 45%. The picture of who Americans blame the most seems fairly clear.

They've done a good job of prolonging the recession. In hopes that people will forget that they caused it in the first place. We'll see how that sells in 10 months.

Do you HAVE an answer? I doubt it. You just echo the obama party line.

Hint....it was during the time that obama had democrat control of BOTH houses...his first 2 years in office....that this economy took a sharper nose dive that the course it had been on.. ALSO it was after those 2 years that the government got the CREDIT DOWNGRADE due to overwhelming debt and no plan to curb it's increase!!

So...the republicans blocked economic recovery?!?!?!

My God!! You *******s make me laugh!!
Well, I hope you split a gut laughing.
Obama took office on the teetering edge of the brink of the biggest economic collapse of the late 20th Century. And it was George W. Bush's doing. The recession before it was his daddy's doing, and the one before that was Reagan's doing.

Of course the economy took a nosedive! If the Republicans had not de-regulated the banking and investment sectors of our economy, it would never have happened, but by the time the house of cards that de-regulation created finally tipped over, it took much of the western world with it!

Expecting any President to instantly fix the calamity is like believing in unicorns. We are going to be paying for 30 years of Republican hanky-panky for a generation.

Go ahead and yuk, yuk, yuk. It's obvious you see it all as one big bag 'o chuckles. And save the name calling... that's reserved for losers only.

Obama did not start the Libyan civil war. He did not lead the NATO coalition, either, and we are out of it totally now, with no loss of American life or equipment. How did Bush do in Iraq? It took Obama to get us out of that mess, Sanrene, and that's reality.
Obama is not going to embroil us in a war in Iran, either. He's way to busy trying to clean up the Bush economic mess to get involved in another stupid war in the middle east.

You mean stating the facts about President Obama always brings out the
"hate" card from the righties. Look no further than Fox News; Rupert Murdoch's propaganda station.

No, they were elected in the HISTORIC 2010 election to STOP obama's radical agenda, to stop the spending. They have done that...to a point and since controlling only 1/2 of congress, they've done a pretty good job considering all the bills they've passed are sitting in the do-nothing obama senate.

It's wonderful that congressional elections are not held on a national level. They have constituents in their districts they must answer to and no one of the political punditry/pollsters have claimed the dems can take back the House. And I'm SURE you've heard the dems will likely lose the Senate?

How can anyone forget president ZERO jobs, which would be obama. We tried his way, taxing and spending, massive debt for his first 2 years, which was a total FAILURE and don't even think people won't remember the stimulus, obamacare, dodd-frank when the dems had unfettered control of the fed government.

Seen the approval ratings for congress lately? A DIRECT reflection on the GOP agenda.

Seen the wrong/right track lately? A DIRECT reflection on obama. Seen the state polls lately, in all those lovely swing states?

See ya in November.

You mean the recession that started in 2007, AFTER the dems took complete control of congress? Oh, obama was IN that congress from 2004....so he is culpable as well.

In case you don't know, which I doubt you do, the recession ended in June of 2009, BEFORE a penny of obama's failed stimulus went out the door. HE used the stimulus as a slush fund for payback to his supporters, which will all be a focal point next year.

I doubt you know this, but Bush tried as early as 2004/2005 to rein in Fannie&Freddie..and guess who would have NONE of it? The dem - Frank, Dodd, Meeks, etc, etc.

Expecting any President to instantly fix the calamity is like believing in unicorns. We are going to be paying for 30 years of Republican hanky-panky for a generation.

Not instantly, but what he has done has made the economy much, much WORSE. If you were mad about Bush, you must be FURIOUS with obama for increasing the debt by $4 trillion in 3 years and the deficit by over a $1 trillion the last 3 years running.

It's becoming difficult to find an issue that doesn't bring out the "hate card" from the RW. It seems to be their sole reason for being.
