Glad she is doing better! Lucy used to throw up a little yellow bile in the morning - due to an empty stomach. We now give both of ours a little bedtime snack to control this problem. It seems to work.

Little puppies don't seem to do well if they go too many hours without eating.

To the OP: you can give your puppy CET chews which are supposed to be good for their teeth and they dissolve so there's no chance of a blockage like with rawhide.

I would just like to add that while working at the vet, we always asked people to bring a fecal sample with cases of vomiting OR diarrhea. With vomiting it could be a parasite so it's always better to bring a sample. In your case I'm glad it was just the raw hide and an easy fix!

Did you change the food? This could do it. I would bring her to a vet though right away.

then a few days ago brought up by 'Accooler' new posted with an 8wk old pup that was sick, now haven't heard from her again about pup.

anyway, this thread... is Very old!
