Fantastic! I remember when I graduated from college and got a job in Chicago. My parents did not want me to leave Texas and move so far away. They thought offering to pay for my getting a Masters would change my mind. No way. When I walked across that stage for my BS I told myself that I was done with school. I meant it, too. All I wanted was a job and my own washer and dryer. LOL.

I truly respect kids that continue on for further education. Your daughter has earned that respect for soldiering on and so have you for being such a supportive parent.

Congrats to your daughter, Camper! And, Ketabcha, I totally empathize about wanting a job and a washer/dryer!

Glad you are all doing well and congrats Campster and my condolences to Ketabcha.

Nice the pets you adopted are now part of the family TFW and Ketabcha!

The M.S that I have been blessed with has spread to my fingers, legs, and my feet.
Numb,pins and needles and pain.

I have not checked in for a while and thought I would let you know.

Not looking for a pity party.

Just saying Hi!

Bob, I'm so sorry to hear that. I know some days it's hard to tell ourselfs at least I can...

All I can say to you is hang in there. I wish things were better for you. Check in when you can.

All is good here. Looking forward to some good river time this summer. Today was so stinking hot and humind.
Sometimes I wonder why we live here but then the heat breaks and I remember why.

Bob, I'm so sorry. I know you're not looking for a pity party and I wont feel pity for you. But I do feel sad. You're one of the sweetest, kindest people I know and you deserve so much better.

By coincidence, I recently read about a new drug that has just been approved by the FDA:

New Drug to Treat MS Gets FDA Approval

Bob, I'm so sorry to hear that the MS is now affecting your hands and feet. I keep praying for a cure for this disease. I hope it goes into remission for you closely followed by a complete cure.

Hugs,
D

Arghhh... my window thermometer is showing 103.3 degrees right now -- and it's only mid-June. And my Jeep's air-conditioning is out. It went out last June and the repair shop replaced the hoses. When I picked it up, there was mist coming from the vents, which I know is a sign of a coolant leak. But the repair shop said "no leak".

I dont drive much -- only about 50 miles per month -- so it's taken this long for the "no leak" to drain all the coolant out again. Now I have to find a different repair shop. I thought about waiting to get it fixed since I dont drive much -- but I went out early this AM and it was miserable in the hot Jeep.
