How cute and Tovah and Jam, Ketabcha. And so glad that she's working her way into your house -- and obviously your heart.
So sorry about your mom. It brings back memories of my mom in the several assisted-living facilites in which she lived the last 15 years of her life.
Flamingo, I have been taking photos. But no one cares. AT&T doesnt care -- they tell me I need to deal with the contractors directly. The contractors lie to me because they have no one to whom they have to answer. I should contact the local TV stations but I dont want that kind of publicity. I'm ready to just pay my yardman to do all the rest of the work and be done with it.
Thank you, TFW. Mother is doing much better today. I'm so thankful for that.
I woke up in the middle of the night to find the cat asleep on top of me. I have changed her name back to Alice because Tovah does not fit her and I can't remember that name, anyway. She is definitely an Alice.
O, Ketabcha, I'm SO happy for you -- for both your mother and for Alice and you. What a delightful surprise to find her so comfortable with you that she lies on you.

Glad your Mom is better and little Alice has warmed up to you!
Alice is now Ali (pronounced "Allie). She responds to Ali. It is so nice to have another life in the house. What a hoot she is. She makes me laugh. I really needed that and she has filled the bill. I think I waited just the right amount of time to get another cat. I'm glad she waited for me.

What a beautiful post, Ketabcha. My heart is so happy for both of you.
Lulu has somewhat an androgynous face so I bought her some lightweight magnetic earrings in different colors. She wears them when we go to Petsmart or walking in the park. Silly -- but she gets a lot of positive attention when she’s wearing them.
