I have someone in my home who is over age 65, immunosuppressed who has been sick for a week that cannot get tested here in DFW.

I've lived all over this state in the last 25 years. This isn't a hurricane or a tornado that hits a county or two. It's a pandemic which we have never seen and we could be in real trouble. Each county cannot set their own rules.

I've grown dubious of the hyped value of testing.

From what I understand, most people (that is, we working-class stiffs) can't get tested unless we are already showing symptoms. That means testing will not discover those who are walking around for up to two weeks as asymptomatic carriers.

Then if a person is tested after beginning to show symptoms, it takes from one to two weeks to get the results back (apparently there are testing procedures that provide results much more quickly, but that is apparently also not for working stiffs). Well, one to two weeks after showing symptoms, the sickness will have already revealed what it is by additional symptoms.

So I'm not sure what testing is going to do for us, except for those who have the money or position to get the accelerated testing procedure.

If a person is showing the symptoms that qualify for testing, the doctor could evaluate that person and then simply slate that person to come in for another checkup or arrange a phone call or some other tele-check in a week.

Are you saying a businesses in San Angelo, Carthage or Abilene for example should be closed when they have no cases ?

We do not need to shut down the entire state.

No positive test results does not mean no cases.

I personally think that this order needs to be adopted for the complete DFW Metro in order to produce the results expected.

My listing for Wednesday may wait until April 3. The photographer for Tuesday is coming Monday.

Hopefully our closings can be moved to Collin or Tarrant county. (Or done mobile some way)

Office shuts down 100% monday evening. No Buyers will be out for another 12 days minimum.

My Bank is going to drive through only.

Why wouldn't you think that this order won't expand into Collin and Tarrant counties?
