Well If I could stay in Miami until March 1st I would…but someone has to come up here and keep the hype in check (lol)

As far as today, we did quite nicely along the Connecticut coast/Long Island. My temp hit 43 F (right now it’s still 39. 7 F)…and several places in southern Connecticut/NYC/LI hit 40 – 44 F. I think most areas across Connecticut will stay well above freezing tonight and again all day on Wed, except for the highlands up in NW Connecticut. So this storm did a good job to scour out all the deep cold air. The roads around here are just wet along the I-95 corrider. Hopefully the melting keeps going strong for the next 48 hours.

Seemed like that worked for last 2 times we got 2 feet and 1.5 feet of snow. LOL I honestly dont think I ever went over in my thinking of accumulations...Someone correct me if I am wrong... I stay pretty conservative..

Weather Channel has a whole story on Friday's storm and shows 2 scenarios they consider equally likely:

- The first one is what Cambium describes

- The second has most of the snow (and advisory level at most) from Philly on down to DC (what would ironically be Baltimore and DC's biggest snow of the winter so far) but an inch or less in NYC, Boston and points in-between. And NWS seems to advertise that scenario as being a Thursday night into Friday morning thing as opposed to later Friday.

CT should do very well with 10-12 inches of new snow Friday..
At this point only a maniac would say that 12 inches of snow is "doing well".

Yep. I'm over it. The first snow is nice - after that, I need a beach.

Do you have any scientific information to back this up? I only ask because every post of yours in here is inciting an argument.
