Feels great outside right now. It's honestly hard to believe it's late September. Feels like early August.
It feels like crap out...bluntly.

Cold front getting closer..

http://www.intellicast.com/National/Surface/Mixed.aspx

Hourly Forecast.. Winds change direction after 3am and will be from the North. That's when the front passes through. Look at those dews! Friday in the 40s. Man it's going to be refreshing. It's been like 2 weeks, right?

NWS NY

National Weather Service New York NY

A cold front passes tonight. High pressure builds briefly on
Friday before another cold front moves through the area Friday
night into Saturday. High pressure builds back for the weekend
and remains through early next week.

6 AM THURSDAY MORNING THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT/...
A change in airmass begins as much drier air moves in, and
northerly winds increase. A tight pressure gradient behind
departing Maria and cold front, and downstream high pressure.
Warm temperatures are expected before cooler air advects in from
the NW. Dry weather/plenty of sunshine is forecast, with clear
skies at night.

Highs in the 70s will fall into the 40s and 50s at night.

I can understand why people dislike it. For me, it's the best.

Although its muggy and warm this morning do you feel it? Winds picked up and from the North, air mass changing now as cooler and drier air filters in!

6am temps. Similar dews as well.

See the front? Finally. A dry front. No surprise. Grasses are browning up. So weird to say as we turn into October!

The dew point is already down to 49 for New Britain's 06052. I've actually enjoyed the heat of the past week. It was the humidity I couldn't tolerate.

United States Drought Monitor > Current Map > State Drought Monitor

While still nowhere as bad as 9 to 12 months ago, safe to say the colors are increasing in the northeast. No, I don't mean the foliage either. Change "CT" at the end of the URL to "ME". Look how much worse Maine is now.
