That batch of rain is moving Southeast but will only bring scattered light showers later today tonight.

WOW chilly start to the morning. I woke up shocked at how cold it was (I do not close my bedroom window from May 1 to Oct 1... for better or worse). Guess Autumn finally got here!

The house was a chilly 58 degrees this morning! Safe to take out the window units this weekend, Cam? What do you think?

Not safe. Summer returns next week. Tues-Friday. What I'm seeing resembles a hot pattern for Summer standards let alone Fall. Which means it's gonna heat up bigly again. (doubt 90s though). Luckily sun angle isn't as bad otherwise we'd be talking heat wave if it was last month

Jet stream dips in the West again and we get the Ridge (hot and dry). See that 594 number? That's a hot core for Summer let alone for October.

News8 onto the heat idea for next week. Although...... nights wont be as warm so maybe wont be that bad for needing A/C?

Around 80 is certainly hot (but not unprecedented) for early October, but that's still better than what we just had.....though some of it depends on how much humidity we have.

Yikes, autumn for the weekend then late summer for the week. We won't have leave changes at this point, they'll just fall off and die in November.
