2 days in a row? Kissing the ground.

Why did we wait this long for this?

Stunning day so far. Maybe storms later again.

I know you are kind of being tongue in cheek, but 100 degrees plus in June is actually very rare. In Central Park with their very long record, it has only happened 3 times, and all the last week of June. The last time it happened was actually way back in 1966!

And it has never been 100+ in June at BDR, in fact the record for the month is "only" 97 (set on June 9, 2008).

For comparison sake, look at this.

I clicked in the Maine weather thread and I can swear they are on another planet. lol So close, yet so different. As far as that guy is concerned, Maine is going through some sort of cooling rather than warming. My goodness...

On a different note, it's June already. While I understand summer starts on the 21st, I'm ready for the summer weather. Bring it on!!!

Yes there's an Upper Low over them making them stay in the 50s and 60s today. They were in the 80s and 90s during the heat wave last week so doesn't matter its "maine". lol But yeah, they lag big time.

BTW -- We are now 2 days into Summer as far as weather goes. You guys need to brush up on why Summer starts June 1st.

Please don't cite the Weather Channel as a reputable source Cam.

Good point. I made a vow yesterday not to tune into them anymore. Disgusting avenue they chose.

NWS better? Lol
