Great idea to throw at them to add that as an option on their map. I can't think of any other site that would have something like that but I'm sure a Google Search will come up with some. NOAA probably has it or TWC or Accuweather.

You can also use this site. It's not shaded but will have the official and actual text numbers on the map. It grabs the NWS data so it's Legit.

Snowfall season starts July 1 so choose that option to see season snowfall.

You can also choose to see what the departure is to date. Then just subtract the 2 numbers to get the normal.

IEM :: Map of Daily NWS CLImage reports

If you want to see previous years snow totals and departures just find June 30 on Calendar

Great memory!

Last time they got 1.5" in 1 day (midnight to midnight) was November 29, 2016

Last time they got 2.0"+ in 1 day was December 9, 2014 (845 days ago!)

Keep in mind, this is only a midnight to midnight stat.

November 29-30, 2016 they got 2.67" with that storm.

BTW ---- Alexandria Louisiana just got 9.17" in day yesterday.

Get those rain gauges ready. Rivers are running higher than normal around here between the rains and upstream snow melt.

Awesome map... he has for every 10° too. (30s, 40s, 50s, ect. ect). See post here.

Max temp of 70s is the more common thing for CT.

Brian B's Climate Blog: U.S. High Temperature Categories

Number of days per yr Max temp in the 70s.
60-70 days a year is the normal amount. Looks like Groton gets 70-80 days a year of 70s normally.

I doubt it. Noah could float by their studio in his ark and the weatherman will still be crying drought. Jay
