Speak for yourself. I have lived all over the country (including Florida!) and not only have I chosen to live in CT, I love the weather! I have a reasonably portable job and make a good salary. I have my choice of locations if I wanted to leave. If you hate the weather in CT, then what are you still doing here? Stop complaining and start formulating a plan to move and find your "perfect" place. I swear, it's like people on this forum take joy in being miserable with their lives.

Reason why we've been in this cool type pattern is because there is blocking going on in the North Atlantic which is sending these Cold Dry Pools of Air down into the Northeast. But usually blocking means a warm High pressure over Greenland so I'm kinda shocked
Greenland Ice and Snow are at record levels past 3 weeks.

I agree. May, June, July, August, September.. awful in CT.
Sure there will be a few good days here and there but between the Stratus clouds, rainy periods, Humid days, hazy air, and hot temps...... those 5 months are awful.
