First you'll feel the winds... then you'll feel the dewpoints drop. Watch the air dry out throughout the day. Going to feel nice that we will ALL agree on.

Temps wont reflect until tomorrow because you have residual ground heat + sun so should warm into the mid-upper 70s today easily. But wont be humid! Monday and Tuesday will be nice!!

0.00" of rain with this front. lol

So I replied...

YUP!! In fact Water temp is 76F just north of Bridgeport in New Haven.

Midnight and Bridgeport air temp is 75F. My A/C is non stop and on the most I ever remember for Sept.
A lot of people don't realize that the water is warmest in August into September because it had all summer to "heat up". It's one reason why tropical systems that get to us are more common in the late summer and early fall than earlier in the summer. I know that the water temperature usually "peaks" in the mid 70s so while it's probably warm for mid-late September, not sure how "unprecedented" that really is (the relative lack of high 90s probably kept the water from being even warmer). Being as close to the South as it is is a bit unusual though, a "regional quirk" like those years where it snows more from Philly-DC than in southern New England.....

Bridgeport has the highest temp of anyone north of Florida except for Cape Hatteras NC. 74°. Yes, nearby sites are 73° like NYC and Long Island.

And Check out the dews! 70°!

Dew points. Edge of front is near! Watch the feeling after it pushes through.
Fahrenheit for me

Should've kept your windows open last night. I had to dig for the covers when the winds picked up. Delightful!

Windows? Wind? Umm, it was mid 70s at 1am. By the time it cooled down outside it was too late. Had doors windows open at 6am. House was stuffy all night after the sun beamed on it all day.

I hate new insulation!! Even after the AC goes on, when it shuts off .. after like 10 minutes I dont feel the cold air blowing and I start to feel stuffy..

Even when I'm in a house with central air, I keep the windows open for the fresh air. Love my old house with cross breezes! I rarely have AC on and the house is never stuffy. Warm sometimes but never stuffy

Not sure but we are in that "where is the rain, we need it" phase. Typical. One minute we say "Enough with the rains!". Next minute we say we miss it. Cant win. Lol

In June we were getting rain and drizzle practically every other day. Was annoying and horrible for garden.

Anyway.. none in sight.. not sure how far into drought we are. Doesnt concern me. We will get into a wet period again then we'll miss the drought.
