Earliest Freeze on record... Sept 15-30 for BDL and i believe Danbury or maybe White Plains which has longer records. Yellow for BDR which is Oct 1-16.

I see orange for NYC.
Poughkeepsie before mid Sept.
Concord before Sept 1st

So my record earliest would be closer to end of Sept.

I'm sure the South Florida record is probably barely in fall, perhaps a day or two before winter starts. Just a wild guess. lol

Changes coming.

Hot today through Saturday
Seasonable Sunday to Thursday
Fall finally Friday thereafter but thats still far off. Who knows. But I believe it looks good.

Notice the difference between mid 80s in mid September vs July? Even though the sun is still torching hot, its not as strong...and more importantly its not as humid anymore.

Was outside all day but needed shade for comfort and it was still very warm.

Yeah, this feels quite nice to me. I'd say the biggest difference besides the humidity is how cool it is at night. The heat almost feels relieving in the late morning, and by the time it gets to be too much around 5 it cools way down.

Getting to be just right.

40s north of Merritt next week?

Coastal CT forecast vs interior CT.

Notice the warmer max for interior than coast but the warmer lows for coast vs interior CT. Which do you prefer?

Also note... Yet another "Dry Front" comes in this weekend. Seasonal here we come. Finally. BUT.... will it last or will we go well above normal yet again?
