Just like Mark Twain said about New England. If you like the pattern, don't get used to it.

Ok, I changed his words a little. lol . The dry, warm, sunny days was nice while it lasted..

Jet Stream is south more now so the Clouds, and storms riding across which will keep us cool and cloudy early this week..

Then I believe there is a persistent Upper Low that's going to happen this weekend which has same results going into May.

Not looking like a warm pattern coming next 10 days. Sure we'll get sun or 60s but the overall pattern isn't looking like a warm or hot one.

Goodbye long stretches of Blue skies. Wood stove tonight and maybe again in afternoon tomorrow. No sun to warm the inside of home up

So I'm hearing talk about how we are going to be entering a strong negative NAO phase in the coming weeks with an unsettled pattern overall.

What's say you Cambium?

Unscientifically, I really felt my allergies (tree pollen) hit me in full force this past Saturday. Overall it had been a later start for me vs. prior years. Not good...I'm hoping for that dampness this week.

I feel bad for those with Allergies. This long dry stretch of weather with wind has been great but really hitting at the wrong time for you guys with the new growth and pollen of trees and stuff.

For Boston area but should be similar for us too. Tuesday we got some showers that's why the low day.

Mostly trees doing it now.

NAO is going negative. Probably why that ULL hovers over the region. It's blocked from leaving. Unsettled and cool/seasonable is the pattern next 10 days.

High in Monroe today 51°F.
High in NYC today 64°F.

Quite the difference about 70 miles SW from Monroe.
