Snow is done sunny out, but chilly and the wind is picking up.

Sun is out and there is still a white landscape in areas of CT. My friend in South Salem just texted me a video from there and snow still around with Sun.. Air struggling past freezing in spots.

Snow doesn't melt fast even with Sun. Understand there are other factors including amount accumulated, air temp and length of time with sun.

You guys ready for more?

Yes. I have relatives visiting from California, and half the fun for me is seeing their reaction!

If you are not in an area with elevation the snow is gone. A true elevation snow.

Winds are ripping. What did my station record as the peak gust so far? I know there was a "Holy Crap" moment before, I knew it had to be over 60mph. Nothing down yet

Feels like February. Frequent 40mph+ gusts

Snow is still on the ground here in Marlborough. It melted off the driveway but my deck, grass, etc. are still snow covered. We probably had about 4".
