Mark Twain has company?

Interesting Map of places with the locals saying, "if you don't like the weather , wait 15 minutes."

The density in the Plains is surprising but I bet that's more for storm related as opposed to Southern New England with the Variety of it?

Nothing to do with CT weather but just noting since I'm hanging out in Indiana this week. It's 46 F here in Indianapolis, mid-May, approaching noon! Cold & raw! Heading back to BDL tomorrow, I don't think it's supposed to get that cold there.

Downpours entering CT...

I bet you the Catskills and Hills around the Hudson Valley did this.

6pm radar on left. 7:15pm on right.

Skies are dark north of me now

Here we go. With the temperatures at 5000' now dropped below freezing over the area, we shouldn't warm up much from where we are. Maybe 10 degrees at most.

If Bradford, PA records snow accumulation it will be the latest on record for them. So it's impressive and extreme even for the Ice Box of PA. It's snowing there now

6am temps.

It's funny, I look at this and say "whats the big deal? 30s and 40s?". Then I remember it's mid May. These are below and well below normal temps down to Gulf

Radar loop and metars last 4hrs. Watch the Lake effect snows and how its snowing down into PA. Du Bois now reporting snow. Someone is seeing a white landscape for sure under that area in PA...or NY

Radar Loop last 2 hrs. Keep in mind this is with the sun up. Lake Effect snows & scattered convection from instability in the region

Snow squalls into MA and CT? lol
