This morning's "spotter reports" show many CT spotters with up to an inch of accumulation so it will be interesting to see tonight if BDR recorded measurable this morning.

I don't believe ice accretion from freezing rain counts in the totals though, but I may be wrong.
Where do you live on top of a mountain? Nobody has snow in CT at this point..no way. Unless you are way high elevation.

No I don't have any accumulation I was talking about NWS spotter reports, they noted for example 0.5 inches from a spotter in Wilton. Even JFK and Newark Airport officially recorded 0.1" of sleet accumulation. I'm sure it's long gone now.

I dont live on a mountain and I got snow still around. Drizzle and 30s isnt melting it.

Had 0.30" of snow. 0.20" of sleet. So 0.50" total. Sleet is harder to melt then snow.

Im glad I stayed up. Saw it snowing pretty good at 1:30am

2nd to last picture looked like my yard. More snow stuck on the road this morning than the grass. Also some area's in my yard have more snow than other's. Was pretty windy out wind was strong last might can see piling up in certain area's.

Hopefully this is the last storm or CT wakes up does a better job with the roads this winter.

I quoted the wrong post ..sorry about that. My post was directed at run saying it was still snowing at 10 oclock and had just turned to rain.. .. which there was NO WAY.

that makes more sense. Though it would still be odd without elevation at that hour.

Hartford has snow and I believe our elevation is around 20. I don't live at a high elevation either and we got about an inch in Glastonbury. Jay

Ok ..crazy stat of the day. Bridgeport will have ZERO daily highs below normal the entire month of December. Two or three days tied it . That is ludicrous! I doubt that has ever happened. Going to look back at last February and see if that happened the other way around.

Edit: Yes, last February had zero days ABOVE the normal high the whole month. In one year we will have had 2 of the most bizarre months temp wise in history...how odd is that?
