They're still in 1988 based on what that mall looks like.

In Norwalk.

See anything on the right side?

Now see it?

Switching sides..

I don't remember seeing a sign for it but it's been a couple weeks since being in the area. On Richards Avenue Near Walmart on Connecticut Avenue. Last thing I remembered was passing by woods and trees.

This Area is now warmer as the sun heats the surface and expands.

Probably sending the wood to a mill? Poor little house.

Panorama

The map... What are the chances they are going to build 1 or 2 homes there? lol

Hey... at least it's not a parking lot, right? lol Then again .. all those trees were sacrificed

Satellite view... Was that someones yard in there? Looks like grass.

Google Earth Street View This is what it looked like driving down the road (left side).

I live on this street. It is very, very sad to see all the trees come down. An assisted-living memory care facility will be built there.

They're being built everywhere now. One was just built in West Hartford, Manchester, South Windsor, etc. The baby boomers make up such a large part of our states population that in nearly 10-15 years, 1 out of every 4 or 5 residents will be over 65 years of age. In a state of 3.6 million people that'll be roughly 800,000 and many of those will need assisted living.

They're putting one up right around the corner from me as well in a nice forested area despite neighborhood opposition.
I believe 3 altogether will be built in Fairfield, or maybe 2, I forget.
