I notice it shows only 0.2" precip (1-3 inches depending on ratios) for the Sunday-Monday storm and no snow after that thru Feb 19. What do you think?

Yeah, GFS doesnt want to phase the jets and so its not showing a big storm.

Euro shows 0.80". Not as cold but still at 10:1 that's 8".

I didn't check the Canadian.

Edit.. Oh and as far as no snow after that, who knows.. We saw what no snow 3 days before an event ends up being. Lol. Maybe the High Pressure is too strong and right over us which would mean no snow and probably why GFS is so cold. It was just one run so maybe next update shows some snow after Mondays

New GFS has the Monday storm now but....warm air aloft again and cold surface. Ugh!

Its actually a 3 day precip duration. Shows snow from Sunday morning to Monday morning then ice Monday during day then snows till Tues morning.. I feel like I'm watching the movie groundhog day. Didn't we have that storm senario just happen?

When I was a child, the more snow the merrier. Then I grew up.

lol. I hear that a lot.. meanwhile.. 10 years of aging and 300 inches of snow later ... I still don't have a snow blower and do everything by hand. About 2000+ sq ft of shoveling space not including roof.

Snow keeps me young, excited and strengthens my body; cold keeps me healthy, energized, and motivated to keep going.
