Overnight Euro decides to have snows for us now. Also...it's slower. Wednesday evening commute could be messy

Upton Snow total forecast and excellent tid bit discussion from NWS Mount Holly and NWS NewYorkNY regarding clipper.

Nice to see few offices coordinated on this system.

A pre Clipper will get shredded. Plowable snows possible for NYC metro.

Not so much the clipper causing snow chances but a shortwave rounding the base of trough. Some of the Energy for this system is still in the Pacific so details are hard to know!

And if that shortwave decides to explode a bit..could get more...not likely but its been known to happen. Seems very hard to forecast.

Yup, but could be a local thing. Maybe someone gets 5-6" out of this?

Notice Upton mentions "plowable" or advisory level snows.

But notice this will be a NYC not Hartford thing. NYC could get more than anyone in MA.

We'll know more by tonight.

I'm already planning my afternoon commute around this event

Southern Fairfield and New Haven, L.I, NYC, best chance to see 3-4 inches and NJ might get 6" if the track stay the same.

Just sharing? You labeled it "Breaking" for Wed into Thurs!! And again, those are fake images, tests. Not for 24th!!

I wish you came into this thread more during events or to talk about current weather, rather than hyping future possibilites. Been saying this for a yr now. Hmmm. Actually going to ask a mod about something.
