This winter is so depressing and boring. Where is my SNOWSTORM?!

It's already Jan 21 and so far we only had like 3 trite dustings that melted ASAP. There's nothing to see but boring dead grass and I haven't even used the shovel ONCE yet!

On that note.,..... Here we go....

Back to Back Snowstorms on the way! Saturday and Tuesday. Overnight models agree and NWS decides to jump on board.

THE POTENTIAL IS THERE FOR A CLASSIC NOR`EASTER AND WITH THE CURRENT
TRACK AND MAGNITUDE...WE COULD SEE SIGNIFICANT SNOW AND VERY GUSTY
WINDS.
THE TRACK IS AT TO JUST EAST OF THE BENCHMARK AFOREMENTIONED
AND WITH RAW MODELS TEMPS OF 34-35 DEGREES...PRECIP SHOULD BE
INTENSE ENOUGH TO DROP TEMPS TO WET BULB VALUES RATHER QUICKLY WHICH
WOULD GIVE SURFACE TEMPERATURES FREEZING OR BELOW. THEREFORE
FORECAST HAS INCREASING CHANCES OF MAINLY SNOW ACROSS THE ENTIRE
REGION GOING INTO SATURDAY AND CONTINUING INTO SATURDAY EVENING
BEFORE TAPERING OFF LATE AT NIGHT.

THE SECONDARY LOW THEN DEEPENS MONDAY NIGHT INTO
TUESDAY AGAIN
RIGHT NEAR THE 40N/70W BENCHMARK AND THEN TRACKING TO
NOVA SCOTIA. THERE WILL BE ANOTHER CHANCE OF SNOW WITH THIS LOW AND
DEPENDING ON THE EVOLUTION AND TRACK OF THE LOW...ANOTHER ROUND OF
SIGNIFICANT SNOW AND GUSTY WINDS IS POSSIBLE

And we're off.

Here it is...

Need more coffee. Back to back snowstorms.

A look at the overnight updates for 3 main models.

Sat 1pm Top 3. Monday 7pm Bottom.

I don't think we need a new CT thread for this... I think this stays under 8"+ for us each storm..

I just hope all CT Forum members are seeing this and ready.

I did start a thread in the Weather Forum if you wanna follow which will cover more than just CT.

Went to walk with the dog this morning & forgot to check the temps. LOL. I started realizing I wasn't dressed right when my fingers started freezing while looking at latest storm stuff and texting. LOL

Cold morning out there! 19° here. 7:30am temps

Finally a potential snowstorm and OF COURSE I have to travel that day (Saturday). I will wait until tomorrow night to check the weather again and shift plans accordingly.

I've been quiet on here lately because the season so far has been great for me......but I knew it was only a matter of time. Lol. I guess for me, it's ok for Saturday to snow because I am home. I really was hoping to make it to at least March without picking up a shovel.

Anyway, what's going on for today/tonight? Anything disruptive or not?

Actually, believe it or not, part of me did also.. Why not go for the gold and have the least snowiest winter. Lol would make things interesting. Looks like things are picking up... We'll see.

On road now but last I checked snow moves in after 6pm? Flurries, light stuff. Not disruptive except south of NYC

After 6 is cool with me......I wasn't worried about anything with me. Wife starts a new job today and gets out at 5:30 and she is new on the roads so I was just concerned for her safety......just in case it was snowy.
