It doesn't surprise me that they screwed it up. 99% of them incorrectly think that the weather reporting station is physically located in Bridgeport. While the city of Bridgeport does own the facility, it is located in Stratford. Bridgeport is 2 miles away.......

Many places like that. Like they say Hartford(BDL) when it's in fact in Windsor Locks. I think either they go with the major city its near OR for BDR it's owned by Bridgeport so they use that. 2 miles isn't that far in the weather world but yeah, I agree. For BDL they might say Hartford because that's where the records started from?

----------------------

So far so good in CT today aside from some rain showers earlier...

You see all that brownish pink over us? That's dry sinking air. Meaning no big storms. They are limited from lifting up.

Same was for over Albany but then they broke through the cap and BOOM. Large storm.

That cluster in PA might be ours later tonight but by then the sun.

Don't think I saved any shots from it. Could of just been a blob on the map. Maybe NWS will post them. Nope... no Warning. lol. Goes to show how fast the atmosphere can develop it.

Better video from Jay. Check it out. WOW! Debris, Spin, updraft(lift), wind, ect.. nice position and video by him.
