It's late March almost April and there is still a layer of ice on the ponds/lakes in in the southern part of Fairfield! This is nutty.

Bridgeport hitting 70°F

Earliest: March 10, 2006
Latest: May 21, 1966
Average: April 14th

Bridgeport hitting 75°F

Earliest: March 13, 1990
Latest: May 24, 1984
Average: April 25th

Something tells me we're going past the normal date hitting those temps. We'll see. Waters are colder off the coast this year, keep that in mind.

NWS is actually snowing Sunday night's rain turning to snow now, even in NYC. But I doubt it will stick and it's supposed to go back up to 60 on Monday. Ah spring!

Lake Saltonsall in Branford is still completely frozen over! This is the lake that 95 crosses over just east of New Haven.

Yes. In all seasons...but I do like the breaks.. I don't mind warmth at all but not heat and for Gods sake not humidity. That's why I like winter too... Very dry.

Put it this way... I prefer temps under 40°. I love temps under 15°. I get uncomfortable, depressed, and unhealthy when temps go above 70. Same for when dewpoints go above 55.
