Latest GFS bows to the Euro again... this is just sad.

Power companies should keep their out of state help around.

If you guys hear about the latest GFS don't buy it. It shows 5-10" of snow for Litchfield and parts of Hartford counties.

Here we go. NWS introduces the S word into the forecast.. I dont think the snow is the big deal in CT more than the winds and coastal flooding near the coast. However locations that could get up to half foot need to keep an eye on this.

I hope power companies continue to work hard and get everyone on soon because next few nights are looking cold for those without generators

Unfortunetly its looking like this is happening again. (not to the full extent of course but),, Latest GFS shows flooding rains, coastal flooding, 60mph wind gusts to the coast, and blizzard like conditions not to far from the coast.

Just like with Sandy except the snowline is East now in NJ,CT, MA, NY, ect. instead of WV, VA, TN, OH, PA

NASTY STORM ON THE LATEST CANADIEN AND EURO! THEY HAVE A STRONGER STORM NOW ALONG THE COAST!! ! 60-70mph WINDS

N.O.T... G.O.O.D!

I am having a hard time believing that but with the negative NAO, its possible. What a mess if that comes true.

GFS 978MB
GGEM 962MB
ECMWF 980MB

High wind gusts, heavy rains, coastal erosion, and heavy snow . Typical NorEaster. Hard to buy this yet but they are starting to show it

Looking at data from Euro...its showing rain for CT changing to snow for interior and has almost half foot of snow for Atlantic City. Poor folks down there!

I'm gonna wait until you are more certain before I raise the alarm. I will pick up the bulbs for my lanterns and some batteries tomorrow just in case. I don't usually lose power (and didn't this time) so I wasn't able to get my supplies together for last weeks storm.
