It is TORRENTIAL here in West Hartford. Was just driving around, couldn't drive in the curb lanes due to too much ponding.

I dont see any changes in the pattern coming up. We could be going like this into September. 70s low 80s and 60s at night with a few nights in the 50s. No extremes in the picture either way. Similar rain chances with all the fronts!

BDL has 3.73" for today. Isnt that a whole month worth?

Here's a backyard in Torrington today: Judging by the little bridge I would say this was a brook that is overflowing. lol

But what ARE you disappointed in? When do we ever get perfect summer weather? I don't think its clear at all. This is typical New England weather albeit July was super hot.

OKX's preliminary daily climate report that comes out at 430pm shows that BDR's (i.e. Sikorsky Airport, Bridgeport) MINIMUM humidity today was 88% (and that with a high of 82)......YIKES!

Well, I guess their 0.08" of rain was a lot better than the almost 4" at BDL......

Guess what

Litchfield county in the crosshairs again for downpours as the front slowly pushes through still over central NY. Look at that line just moving right into Litchfield.

I'd love to speak to some Canaan residents. I guarantee you they'll say things like "yeah, we keep getting hit hard past few months"

Dewpoints through the roof again! At least it wont be 30 days worth again. Look at the real feel at Danbury. LaGuardia at 91°

CT Site OBS's sorted by Dewpoints. BDR having issues since last night. http://mesonet.agron.iastate.edu/ASOS/current.phtml?sortcol=dwpf&network=CT_ASOS&metar=n o&sorder=desc&format=html

Windsor Locks BDL is at 3.79" for the day. That breaks the daily record for today AND its the 5th largest precip total at BDL for any day in August. (records since 1905).
