For real.

I was planning to do something later in the day today, but after seeing the NWS forecast last night, i figured i'd better take care of it this morning. Last night(~8 p.m.), they were calling for a 100% chance of heavy rain, thunder/lightning/wind, and possibly small hail after 3 p.m. 14 hours later, the forecast becomes a 30% chance of scattered t-storms after 3.

WTF?

I'm not sure if your comparing enjoying 100s to bare trees, or depression to weather or Hot days to turning back the clock. But I might be dillusional at this point.

We all have our preferences
DST has nothing to do with weather.

Today is hottest day but tomorrow and Tuesday will be similar. Pop up storms today through Wed. Rain Thursday from cold front. Relief comes Friday-Saturday-Sunday.

If you go back to our original point, we were discussing the health of individuals as it relates to climate. To recap: I prefer humid, warm weather. You said there are many health risks with living in a warm climate. You prefer cold climate, and I pointed out that the colder climate has many times the number of people living with seasonal depression (linked to suicide, etc) than warmer climate. There are positives and negatives to both, and it depends on the individual. As I said, it goes both ways.

All caught up now? That humidity getting to ya?

Sorry. No. You'll always be incorrect with that statement because of proven statistics.

Maybe the heat is getting to you and hopefull there's no sweat in your eyes to see this.

My original statement was Landscape and enjoyment of weather shouldnt go together.. Its a fruit but its apples to oranges. So the Question to you is... Do you hate the heat with bare trees.

Hey look... 1pm heat Index. Some people are loving the 100s and 90s because there's leaves on the trees. lol

NWS Weather Fatality, Injury and Damage Statistics
I'm sorry but I think you misread my statement. I was talking about seasonal depression, not general fatalities. Our colder climate has many times the seasonal depression rate than our warmer climate. Fact.

Go back. Reread. Comprehend. Maybe do a bit of appropriate research. Then post.

Have a feeling that we are going to get some severe weather this afternoon. The atmosphere is explosive out there. Storms already starting to fire up.

AT THE SFC...HIGH PRESSURE WELL TO THE SOUTH GIVES WAY TO A WEAK FRONT THAT WILL MOVE A LITTLE CLOSER FROM THE NORTH. THIS WILL LIKELY LEAD TO A BETTER CHANCE...OR HIGHER COVERAGE... OF AFTERNOON AND EVENING CONVECTION AFTER SEVERAL DRIER DAYS. THE BULK OF THE CONVECTION WILL BE DIURNALLY DRIVEN...AND WILL LIKELY FIRE AFTER NOON OR 1 PM ACROSS THE INTERIOR AND 3 TO 6 PM FOR THE SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF THE CWA. SINCE PWATS WILL BE CLOSE TO 2 INCHES...CAN EXPECT LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN WITH ANY STORM. STORMS COULD BE STRONG...CAPABLE OF GUSTY WINDS...SMALL HAIL AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES.

I wouldnt rule out those t storms... its pretty saucy out there. I dont hold that against em 30 percent 40 percent...I mean they cant be perfect on the dime with popup t storms. I never saw 100 percent chance forecast...not from NWS. I did see 50 percent yesterday afternoon/evening.

I've seen them say 100% numerous times.
