Yes, it looks like that front will slow down. Hopefully it passes offshore by Sat and the sun is out by Sunday. I think Monday is safe for being dry, unless the front really slows down - lol.'

Meanwhile....looks like the heat really starts building next week. Portions of interior CT and NJ could see middle 80's:

That's pretty sad.

I've always said, the climate of the East Coast truly gets ugly above the Tri-State area. Two days ago we had highs in New Haven, Bridgeport, NYC, Trenton...etc near or over 80 F....and places in New England like Portland and Boston where in the 50's.

I much prefer this forecast heading the other way on the East Coast:

1:00 PM observations getting pretty sultry here in New Haven - current temp 76 F, dew point 66 F, and mostly sunny....with the breeze it feels like I'm in the Caribbean.

Central Park, NY is 77 F and Newark 81 F.

Was sunny at the coast and over the water. Strong storms in Westchester County entering northern Fairfield. No Watches or Warnings out yet its Thunder Lightning and downpouring. Only flash flood watches out.

here's the Satelliite pic showing the sunny coastal areas earlier
