Yeah, you have better chance than us here to see over 3 inches. There's still a chance CT sees 3-5"
but roads will be fine. Landscape will be white again Monday. Crazy to think.

Enjoy the snow.

I don't know about coastal CT/metro NYC, but BOX thinks just a 20% chance of even an inch in northern CT:

BTW, looks like we're far from alone with this cold March, and they got snow (on Mar. 11/12) and are getting some more tomorrow/Monday:

Light those fires and turn up the thermostat this morning..

feels like teens in some spots mostly 20s in others. Bottom right shows the temps and radar. Moisture slowly moving up.

North of I-84 Im not expecting anything more than snow showers. South of I-84 I think the landscape will be all white again but no travel issues.

I think its more localized today compared to yesterday. I'm only seeing light winds out there gusting to 20mph

High Pressure moving on out against the Low Pressure coming on up. Things will get much windier tomorrow and Tuesday.

Look at the 998mb Low over Kentucky right now with the tight isobars behind it and the 1024 High right behind it. Also notice the 1012/1010 High over us now.

Current map showing where the moisture is..
Thundersnow in Southern IL, Severe Watch southEast of there, Heavy snow NorthWest of there, Heavy snow warnings over Virginias. Pretty potent system already
