Absolutely.

But we had a perceivably better and more well rounded conference with the Big 12 South and Big 12 North. Texas was much much better overall when we had divisions. OU has remained Top Dog but that will change at some point.

Losing A&M, Colorado, and Nebraska is pretty insurmountable in the long haul. I honestly don't care a bit about losing Mizzou. Ironically, of the four that left, Missouri did the best for itself while probably bringing the least overall value to its new conference.

One thing for sure, Texas has made some mediocre/bad coaches pretty darn rich.
The next realignment is going to be very interesting.
BTW.... some of my family went bay fishin’ at South PDre Island this week... The speckled trout were bountiful..

Colorado and Nebraska have not been great since leaving the B12.

Colorado, Arizona, and Washington State are among the worst teams in the Pac-12 every year.

A&M isn’t doing any better in the SEC... look at that “tough” schedule last year...
Their signature win was an 8-2 Florida, and the rest speak for themselves.

A&M was this close | | to earning a CFP spot in 2020.

Lol. They didn’t have the “brand” to make it.
Besides, it was an * year.
Plus they got mudholed by their SEC daddy.

They might be in position again this fall if they play Bama close.

But they need to stop scheduling so many FCS teams if they want to gain respect.

^They already play in the SEC West, the strongest division in all of college football.

Only one FCS school on the schedule this year (PVAMU), but I agree. Many of the SEC schools schedule FCS opponents.

You all know how you can solve this don't you. Just hire another OU grad.
