I always have a soft spot for the underdogs, but as much as I'd like Notre Dame to win, Bama has them outgunned here.
Notre Dame is never a true "underdog." The media would love for them to win so they can bring down Rudy at the end and have a big orgy with the Ghost of Knute Rockne at half field.
Wow, did not expect Notre Dame to be embarrassed this badly (28-0 at halftime!!). I don't much like either team (both beat my beloved Michigan!) but I was hoping it would at least be a good game.
Oregon would get the same treatment by any of the above including Texas A&M.
SEC RUNS This and you know it.
Anyone who watched football this year knows the best teams were Bama and Oregon. Both had bad games and lost. Only a moron cannot see that. South Carolina nearly lost to a terrible Michigan, UGA has no defense and allowed a crappy Nebraska run all over them, a team who got chainsawed by Wiscy, and Florida, well, allowed Louisville to look like a good team.
Don't get a rash working that Bama shaft. I'm sure reasonable thinking waved goodbye
to you long ago.
I don't follow college football, so maybe this was expected. But are bowl games usually blowouts like this?
You're talking about a team, ND, that hasn't won legitimate bowl game since 1994. In their 3 previous BCS bowl games, they were thoroughly outplayed. Oregon State and LSU crushed them.
